This functionality is intended to ensure that in the event of an error or failure, an entire activity is rolled back together, which is an incredibly valuable benefit in most scenarios.

Office 2013 retail is permanently assigned to a single computer

When you install your new retail copy of Microsoft Office 2013 on your computer the license is tied to that machine for its life. If your machine goes kaput or you upgrade to a new computer then you can’t reinstall this copy of Office onto the new machine, you’ll have to buy a new copy which will be then tied to that machine. This new license is a lot like the Windows OEM license, but applying it to an application suite rather than an operating system seems far less reasonable. In effect the new Office 2013 retail and OEM licenses are the same.

US government advises computer users to disable Java software

The U.S. Department is advising people to temporarily disable the Java software on their computers to avoid potential hacking attacks.

The recommendation came in an advisory issued late Thursday, following up on concerns raised by computer security experts.
Experts believe hackers have found a flaw in Java's coding that creates an opening for criminal activity and other high-tech mischief.
Java is a widely used technical language that allows computer programmers to write a wide variety of Internet applications and other software programs that can run on just about any computer's operating system.
Oracle declined to comment on the warning on Friday.

Java is a computer language that enables programmers to write software utilizing just one set of code that will run on virtually any type of computer, including ones that use Microsoft's Windows.

Every push of the doorbell completes an electrical circuit, which tells the Arduino to download the latest webcam image and send it to your chosen e-mail address. Your doorstep self-portrait should arrive in a few seconds.
